We are committed to restoring a sense of pride, dignity, and self-worth to the less fortunate.
We believe in operating with moral principles and being transparent.
As agents of change, we believe in ministering to the spiritual, physical, and emotional needs of people and providing services that support and strengthen families.
We believe in bringing people together in love, peace, and harmony.
For most of my life, I have had a desire to help others. In 1994, the Lord gave me a burden to reach out and help those in need. My wife and I started an outreach ministry from our home. When we found out someone had a need we would anonymously send the needed items via postal service. As time went on and the needs increased we ask members of our church to help, a few responded, and Operation Concern Ministries was born.
OCM is dedicated to helping those in need. The organization consists of individuals who care for the well-being of the whole person. We believe in ministering to the spiritual, physical, and emotional needs of people. We recognize that true change requires the supernatural work of Jesus Christ and is not dependent on social programs. People and programs are mere instruments for the truth of Jesus Christ. Ministry with a spiritual core must incorporate the needs of the whole person. We cannot begin to speak of God’s love without a willingness to manifest that love in meeting basic needs.
